Supportninja is a Philippine-based business process outsourcing company. The mission for the Independent Contractor - Financial Services (FS) is to maintain and manage the financial well-being of SupportNinja and provide oversight for the company finances. The FS is a bridge that connects the finances and operations components of SupportNinja to ensure the continued success and health of SupportNinja fiscally.


Job Scope

  1. Manage and maintain the US financial books of SupportNinja
  2. Compile receipts / Monitor spending on both Philippines and US components of the business
  3. Invoice clients monthly for services rendered
  4. Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payment from clients
  5. Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to A-team (Executive) staff
  6. Flag for review any expenses which seem outside of the norm (excessive or not authorized)

Key Functions

  1. Improve Financial Reporting & Oversight
  2. Communicate relevant financial issues to A-team
  3. Ensure timely payment of AP & receipt of AR payments
  4. Report Management - Financial
  5. Suggest and implement potential improvement to the fiscal processes of SupportNinja



  1. Improve Financial Reporting and Oversight
  2. Conceptualize, create, and implement a new reporting structure for financial services weekly
  3. Monitor and develop budget (with assistance of CSD) and report on performance
  4. Assist in planning of expenditures and relevant information for understanding cash impact for potential expenditures.
  5. Develop SOPs for all processes for FS



  1. Improve A/R and revenue recognition
  2. For New Accounts: Insure we have all necessary automations set-up for on-boarding fees
  3. Coordinate with CSD on insuring that we recognize AR quickly (prior to due date) and make suggestions around process improvements
  4. Improve AR recognition to <15 days at 80% of invoiced amounts

SupportNinja Skills

  1. Quickbooks (or equivalent bookkeeping or accounting software)  - 2+ years of experience in all aspects of QBO (order to cash, purchase to pay, record to report).
