The Job

As a key player on SupportNinja’s Brand Team, you will work out of our Austin, TX headquarters (“The Dojo”) and collaborate with team members in The Philippines (“The Hideout”) and San Francisco.  With a heavy focus on digital media, you will develop a deep understanding of SupportNinja’s target audiences and objectives across North America, Asia, and Europe markets utilizing a mix of paid search, social, display and traditional paid media tactics. You will provide support for a range of media planning deliverables including plan/recommendations, campaign setup, monitoring, analysis, and reporting.

  • Work closely with Head of Media & Brand Strategy in the preparation of cross-channel media planning documents, campaign schedules, budgets and reports with a focus of effectively reaching the target audience.
  • Execute on paid media plans including search, social, display and other paid media while constantly optimizing for campaign objectives including cost, reach, conversions, CPA, and branding/upper funnel focused tactics.
  • Identify and understand target audiences across markets understanding key differences in cost, media mix, and creative approach needed to reach business objectives.
  • Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and campaign performance reports to monitor paid media campaigns with Head of Media & Brand Strategy and when needed, have internal market/campaign performance meetings.
  • Collect and analyze market data for innovative, creative ad units and technology, competitor information, and cultural trends affecting paid media performance.
  • As directed and overseen by the Head of Media & Brand Strategy, develop and present recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses.
  • Participate in strategy and creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Assist with tracking media expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
  • Facilitate key meeting setup, scheduling, presentations, and reports.
  • Work with closely with brand team to ensure alignment of content and strategy across paid, owned, and earned media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media planning, advertising or similar.
  • 1-2 years of agency or in-house experience managing paid media campaigns with a minimum budget of $ (including internships).
  • Experience growing media efforts for disruptive company a plus!
  • Experience optimizing always growing paid media campaigns to hit CPA, ROI, spend and engagement goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, AdRoll retargeting, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills – a media math nerd who always asks “why”.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Extremely data and detail oriented.
  • Avid media consumer with an interest in the effect of media communication/consumption
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with HubSpot and Funnel.io preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal communications, active listening and excellent written grammar and spelling. Diligent note-taking capabilities.
