Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

The Chief Sales Officer is responsible for the revenue generating departments of the organization. They will lead sales on a global strategic level, shaping the way the organization grows current markets, accesses new ones, and increases and expands its client base. 

  • Leads and directs the company’s end-to-end revenue value chain which requires a leadership style that is numbers-driven, collaborative and also inspirational.
  • Delineates ideal buyer persona; defines the most suitable markets and market segments to pursue.
  • Oversees all company activities that generate revenue; directs existing sales channels and partnerships while innovating to add new ones.
  • Develops and improves the company’s sales and client acquisition propositions; develops comprehensive revenue projections.
  • Participates in strategic and business unit planning; participates in contract negotiations.
  • Articulates solutions and the value differentiators of products; organizes revenue teams around buyer segments, accounts and decision making units.
  • Manages a portfolio of programs to attract, engage and convert prospective customers.
  • Integrates the revenue technology stack including sales process automation, Salesforce/HubSpot automation/CRM, digital channels (e.g. web and social), business intelligence, and customer data platform.
  • Structures and directs successful relationships with strategic alliance and channel partners; implements predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales and revenue processes.
  • Attracts, hires, trains, and retains top sales talent to build a performance driven culture.
  • Executes target sales programs using content and experiences to build, attract, engage and convert leads, generate demand using a mix of media channels to drive predictable and sustainable lead flow and sales conversions throughout the funnel.
  • Directs sales teams activities and competencies to sell products and services while managing relationships predictably, meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Business or Finance-related Degree or equivalent; obtained Master’s degree is highly desirable
  • 10 years or more experience in being a strategic and performance driven CSO; equivalent experience in the BPO industry is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Global Data Protection Regulation is a must
  • Experience managing both marketing and sales with previous experience in product and/or service companies
  • Well-rounded strategic experience in handling both Marketing & Sales; must have a Performance Marketing Mindset & deep understanding of and experience in SalesForce/CRM Technology
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships
  • Proven experience developing and executing global business strategy; ability to craft and execute a global business strategy
  • Significant general budget management and P&L experience
  • Pro Forma Projections and forecasting experience is a must; history of decision-making based on business metrics
