Job Description:

Conducts product-specific (Capital On Tap) and basic training to newly hired employees as well as additional training to current employees to keep everyone up-to-date on changes in the industry that affect job requirements. Conducts focused training needs assessments within specified targeted adult populations; designs develops, delivers, and evaluates a range of responsive educational curricula and training programs within defined fields of expertise.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Training

  1. Conducts product-specific and basic training to newly hired employees as well as additional training to current employees
  2. Develops training curricula and recommending or utilizing vendor programs meeting instructional goals and objectives
  3. Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
  4. Selects or developing training aids including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
  5. Coordinates administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs
  6. Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs, and utilizing relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods
  7. Assists in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals and the account itself

Qualifications:

  1. 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Assertive self-starter who can work independently, yet function in a team environment.
  3. Excellent organization, planning, time management, and analytical skills. Strong team building, interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
  4. Teaching and facilitation skills
  5. Ability to determine training objectives
  6. Organizing and coordinating skills
  7. Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology
  8. Skill in preparing instructional aids and plans
  9. Extensive experience and expertise in various training tools
  10. Proficient in MS Office and Google Docs with expertise in using Excel or GSheets
  11. Experienced in various coaching techniques
  12. Strong communication skills
  13. Excellent in time management
  14. Good background in handling email, chat, voice, and back-office type of customer contacts
