Job Responsibilities:

  1. Creates training programmes that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos among other interventions available for disposal
  2. Determines training needs and requirements for an organisation or group by meeting with managers, interviewing employees, or administering surveys
  3. Reviews existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance
  4. Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs 
  5. Presents in-person and online training sessions or hires qualified personnel to do so
  6. Schedules training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrolment
  7. Monitors training programmes and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary
  8. Works with leaders to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
  9. Computes costs for specific programmes in order to report to organization executives regarding a return on investment
  10. Specialises in the BPO industry and keeps current on the activities and needs of the industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars
  11. Finds and benchmarks new ways of educational and training techniques and methods to employ and apply in the improvement of skills-building activities
  12. Develops and prepares training instruments for learning, reaction, behavior and impact levels
  13. Prepares training kit and certificates as well as venue logistics and training equipment 
  14. Prepares program designs for assigned occupational groups using various types of learning tools i.e. elearning, webinars, microlearning, LMS, amongst many technologies available
  15. Prepares and reviews training budget, work programs, instructional design and checklists
  16. Initiates/recommends/enhances policies/systems and procedures to ensure smooth delivery of L&D services
  17. Conducts periodic review of L&D policies/systems and procedures to ensure their relevance on current operation; recommends/submits proposed amendments/enhancements when necessary
  18. Prepares and analyzes post-training reports and requirements
  19. Assists in the facilitation of action-planning monitoring for employees under the PIP program
  20. Ensures that training activities are carried out according to the training design and schedule
  21. Utilizes appropriate, creative and innovative training interventions for assigned programs
  22. Conducts TNA using various data-gathering techniques and tools
  23. Prepares memos/communications on matters involving specific areas of responsibility
  24. Assists in preparing the department budget by using data-driven methodologies


  1. Graduate of any 4-year course from an accredited university or institution; related working experience not required, undergraduates are entertained
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clientele in a diverse workplace
  3. Teaching and facilitation skills is required
  4. High organizational, time management & coordinating skills is a must
  5. Ability to determine training objectives
  6. Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology
  7. Skill in preparing instructional aids and plans
