Data Analyst

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

You’ll join the company’s R&D division at the ground floor, partnering with the Director of Analytics and CTO to establish our data team. You will play a key role in creating analytics solutions for internal leadership, front-line agents, and client partners.

  • Inform and implement data team strategy by working with business analysts, solutions engineers, operations directors, and client success managers
  • Build data pipelines and dimensional models to enable business analysis and CX research
  • Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to answer questions central to strategic roadmapping and operational improvement
  • Play a key role in creating client-facing analytics by working closely with client success and sales
  • Set the standards and implement methodologies and processes to maintain a single source of truth for reporting and analytics purposes
  • Democratize access to insight by collating, curating, and documenting data sets that operations teams, business analysts and clients can leverage

 

Qualifications:

Must Have Skills/Experience:

  • SQL Fluency
  • At least 2 years of experience as a data analyst/scientist or an applied, quantitative graduate degree
  • Experience with Python and working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and testing
  • Experience building ETL data pipelines, data modeling & design, and writing complex SQL queries involving multiple CTEs and numerous table relationships

 

Nice To Have Skills/Experience:

  • Proficiency in statistical concepts, exploratory data analysis techniques, and probability theory.
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills and a confidence explaining your results and solutions to stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (like Looker, Redash, Tableau etc.)
  • Hands-on experience working with data warehouse technologies and/or Big Data technologies
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • A curious mindset, a passion for learning, and interest in working with best-in-class data technologies including Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, and Mode Analytics
